Rates
Our online published rates at Airbnb and VRBO are higher than our direct booking rates.
Special last-minute rates (within 30 days) may be available. Submit an inquiry via our availablity page.
Up to 6 people (max of 4 adults) can be accommodated in our rental (see sleeping arrangement details).
check in/out
We have designed a contactless check in/out system so that you can arrive and depart on your schedule.
Check in time is anytime after 4:00pm.
Check out is anytime before 11:00am.
minimum stay
We require a 2 night minimum stay. During some periods, a longer stay is required.
fees
Cleaning $350 per stay.
State of Hawaii TAT (11%), GET (4.712%), and Kauai TAT (3%) is added to each direct-booking quote.
parking
Parking is FREE and open. There are typically plenty of spaces available right outside the entrance to the unit.
amenities
Air conditioned bedrooms.
Property amenities include access to Poipu Sands pool (heated in winter), Poipu Kai pool and jacuzzi, on-site tennis court, and community BBQ grills.
The condo is equipped with a “gear closet” filled with beach chairs, beach umbrella, towels, cooler, sand toys, snorkel gear, frisbee, tennis rackets, soccer ball, and more.
direct booking
While we do list our rental on Airbnb and VRBO, by booking direct you can save hundreds of dollars in fees. We pass the Airbnb and VRBO fees to our guests, which means prices quoted on these sites are 8-15% higher.
The current Airbnb fee is 15% of the rental rate, which means guests pay, on average, an extra $60/night (or $420 for a week stay) by booking through Airbnb.
Deposit/cancellation
All bookings require a non-refundable deposit. Depending on the terms of our agreement, final payment (also non-refundable) is due either 30 (or sometimes 60) days prior to arrival.
payment
Secure payment can be made via Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or personal check mailed to our rental address.
